The purpose of this course is to provide a series of modules that will deal with aspects of Mediation, Soft Skills and Conflict Resolution that a teacher could possibly use in the classroom and assist with complicated situations in educational environments as well as to get students to take charge of their own learning. Training staff and student/peer mediators in mediation techniques can be an effective way of both dealing with day to day conflicts and also help prevent disputes from happening in the first place. In addition, there are also modules that provide a supplement to this topic with regards to further relevant background and theoretical information.
